Q:How do I enroll in a course?
A: First determine which course you want to take, then verify that you meet the course requirements. Then you can enroll in the course by filling out an on-line registration form or by contacting the Technical Training Registrar by phone at (858) 715-2070.

Q: What do I need to know to take a course? Is there a sequence to the courses?
A: Some courses build on skills and knowledge presented in other courses. These courses (prerequisites) are noted at the end of each course description. It is recommended that these courses be taken in sequence.

Q: Can I waive prerequisites courses?
A: It is recommended that you complete the prerequisite courses indicated. However, in some cases, work experience will provide the necessary background for successful completion of the course. If you are in doubt, a more detailed course description can be provided upon request.

Q: How long are the courses? What are the hours for the courses?
A: Most of our courses are five days (Monday through Friday). They begin at 8:00 a.m. and continue to 3:00 p.m.

Q: Can I cancel my registration?
A: Registrations canceled by the customer less than 30 days prior to the course are subject to penalties of up to 50% of the course fees.

Q: Can I speak to someone about the class?
A: Yes. You can call the Registrar at 1-858-715-2070. If you have specific questions about course content, you may be referred to one of the instructors for more information.
